cover of article on farming and fatigue project

Time pressures and fatigue are common and significant risks to safety on farm. This research will produce practical fatigue management guides co-developed with, and for use in, three agricultural industries (cropping, dairy farming and egg farming). The guides will be underpinned by industry-specific risk profiles that describe scenarios where the risk of fatigue related harm is elevated and controls that can be used to mitigate the risks.

The project is being delivered by Central Queensland University between 2024 and 2025. RSHA is part of the Advisory Committee for this project, which helps guide the project, acts as a connector to industry, and assists the project team in sourcing stakeholders for interviews and surveys.
