ASDN Rural Media Farm Injuries Dashboard

The Rural Media Farm Injury Dashboard tracks on-farm fatalities and injuries reported in Australian rural and social media, giving journalists, farm safety advocates, researchers and the farming community early insights into where and how agricultural incidents are occurring.
The Dashboard draws on live media reports to give timely snapshots of incidents occurring on-farm, before official coronial or workers’ compensation data become available. This means that the data is not verified, and will change as official reports are received, but it has the advantage of an overview ‘here and now’.
Explore incidents by factors such as year, region, sex, age-group, commodity, mechanism, activity.
The dashboard is freely accessible with a User Guide. To request additional support, data insights or arrange expert commentary and insights from safety specialists, please contact the Project Team below.
